SUMMARY:500 Miles of Music: Will Day\, Taylor Moss\, Bill Chambers POSTPONED UNTIL 2023
DESCRIPTION:500 Miles of Music: Wombat Flat to William Creek is back in 2022 and we are taking you on twice the miles with twice the locations and twice concerts! \nThis is our incredible roadshow entertaining a huge chunk of rural South Australia for ten magic days in June 2022. The Tour has been designed to showcase some of Australia’s BEST musical talent to local audiences as well as SA and interstate tourists. \nConcert 1: The Barn At Wombat Flat  – Line up: \nWill Day\n\nGritty. Grounded. Heartfelt. A stand-out performer.  From energetic tracks such as the single ‘Countrified’ to emotive ballads like ‘Simple Then’ (with Brooke Schubert)\, it’s no surprise that Will is making an impact on the country music scene.  2021 has been a wild ride\, with single ‘Countrified’ added to iHeartCountry and KIX Country with the song reaching #12 on the KIX Country Charts and ‘Simple Then’ added to ABC Country\, reaching #9 on the KIX Country Charts and #5 on the Countrytown Hot 50 Charts. Both tracks are included on Will’s debut album ‘Countrified’ and will be accompanied by a national tour reaching every state over the next 12 months. \nWill has opened for the likes of Morgan Evans\, Shannon Noll\, Diesel\, Hoodoo Gurus\, The Baby Animals\, The Black Sorrows\, Col Finley and The Viper Creek Band while also appearing at  Australia’s most iconic country music festivals\, including Tamworth Country Music Festival\, Groundwater Country Music Festival and Gympie Muster. \nWith a genuine gift of storytelling\, combined with compelling vocals and the ability to connect with a crowd\, Will Day is fast becoming one of Australia’s premier rising country artists and one that will undoubtedly be around for many years to come. \nTaylor Moss\n\nShe`s a 26 year old country pop artist\, born in Ulladulla NSW\, and now lives in Brisbane QLD.She made her first recording at age 15 in AC/DC`s Sydney studio. Taylor didn`t so much choose the Country Genre as it chose her\, a guitar gifted from her late uncle guided her towards songs with stories performed by musicians with heart. \nShe got her break at Urban Country Music Festival 2012 winning their talent quest and made finalist at Tamworth`s prestigious 2015 Toyota Star Maker comp. Supports with Jimmy Barnes followed along with further shows at Tamworth and Gympie Muster. \nDuring 2020s Zombie Apocalypse Taylor worked with producer Stuart Stuart (The Veronicas\, Sheppard). The collaboration delivered 2 kick ass country pop tunes\, the first of which ‘Aint No Girly Girl’ was released back in late 2020.The single was added to Spotify`s Fresh Country playlist on release\, she was made Fresh Country Cover star for three weeks over Christmas and the track has gone on to clock up a massive 2 Million Spotify Streams over the past 12 months. \n2021 saw Taylor sign a management deal with Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson`s Tricycle Artist Management company and through a number of releases\, firmly establish herself as one of the most streamed Aus Country Females of the year. Dicko will emcee for much of the 500 Miles of Music tour this year. \nBill Chambers\n\nBill continues to tour the world playing in daughter Kasey’s band and also his own solo shows\, playing anything from house concerts and coffee lounges to major festivals. If you’ve been in the audience at a Bill Chambers concert you’ll notice he always travels with a swag of guitars showcasing his connection to different styles of music that he’s been influenced by over the years. \n“I grew up listening to the Hillbilly music my mum and dad played when i was a kid. I discovered early Rock’n’Roll\, Buddy Holly\, The Beatles\, Rolling Stones\, Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash. In recent times I’ve been particularly influenced by the Texas Singer/ Songwriters.” \nWhen he’s not on the road you’ll most likely find Bill producing and playing on some other artists’ album. ‘I consider myself lucky to have worked in the studio with so many talented people over the years\, it’s always exciting to discover new artists and work on great songs’. \nBill has produced albums for Catherine Britt\, Audrey Auld\, Amos Morris\, Jessica Belle\, Sandra Humphries and HalleyAnna Finlay from Texas. When you see Bill Chambers live on stage it’s evident that his music reflects his early influences and resonates with stories of his life on the road. \n\nThe Barn at Wombat Flat is a NO BYO FOOD or DRINK event please! We will have a range of drinks from Ricca Terra Vintners plus beer\, cider\, soft drinks\, hot drinks. We have booked the amazing Orexi Home of Greek Souvlaki food van!
