All tickets have been refunded and we will reschedule as soon as we can. \nKEVIN BENNETT and THE FLOOD \nKevin Bennett\, well-respected indigenous Singer/Songwriter with Sydney Blues/Roots band The Flood\, Aria nominee and 6 x CMAA Gold Guitar winner….2006 (with The Flood for Best Group)\, 2011(with Kasey Chambers for Vocal Collaboration)\, 2017 (with Bennett\, Bowtell and Urquhart for Best Alternative Album and Best Group and in 2019 for Vocal Collaboration) and most recently\, with The Flood (for Best Group) at the 2020 Gold Guitar Awards\, writes relevant\, contemporary Australian music containing elements of Country\, Blues and Rock – telling stories of where he’s from and where he might be going\, his past and his possible future….he sings his life. \nThe Flood has recorded 6 universally acclaimed albums including ‘The Ballad Of KB’\, which was named in Iain Shedden’s Top Twenty Australian Country Albums of all time\, while Rhythms magazine calls The Flood ‘the best Australian Roots band since The Dingoes.’ \nSo whether it’s solo\, with The Flood or Bennett\, Bowtell & Urquhart\, KB is still making music that needs to be heard. \nThe Flood line-up is KB (Vox/Guitar)\, Jeremy Edwards (Guitar/Vox)\, Wayne ‘Killer’ Kellett (Bass/Vox) and Mik McCartin (Drums/Vox). \n\nTheir new work\, ‘Blood Red Ties’ is concerned with family\, roots\, country and ALL the ties that bind. It speaks to\, and is informed by\, the Australian landscape and the people of this wide\, brown land. \n\n\nRhythms magazine calls The Flood ‘the best Australian roots band since The Dingoes.’ \nJeremy Edwards\n\nOnce described by Grammy winning producer/mixer Eric J Dubowsky (Chet Faker/Flume/Angus and Julia Stone) as ‘the thinking man’s Keith Richards’\, Jeremy Edwards is a producer\, singer-songwriter\, guitarist and singer based in Thirroul\, NSW. Jeremy has played\, worked with and written songs with artists as diverse as Karise Eden (2012 The Voice winner)\, Aleyce Simmonds (2018 Golden Guitar winner – Female artist of the year)\, Kevin Bennett (Golden Guitar winner\, The Flood\, BBU)\, Lyn Bowtell (Golden Guitar winner\, BBU)\, Jen Mize\, Shane Nicholson (Golden Guitar winner/Universal records artist)\, Dom Turner (The Backsliders)\, Felicity Urquhart (Golden Guitar winner/ABC radio/Channel 7 weekender\, BBU)\, Luke O’Shea (Golden Guitar winner) and many others. \n\n\n\nIn between working with artists such as these he runs his own 5 piece alt country band Dust Radio\, is musical director for touring acts The songs and tales of Angry Old Men and Pearl: The Janis Joplin Story and\, with many of the artists listed\, is a songwriting mentor at the annual DAG singer- songwriters retreat in Tamworth.\nJeremy has played at some of the country’s major roots and country festivals such as Tamworth Country Music Festival\, The Byron Bay Bluesfest\, Thredbo Blues Festival and many more. He is currently working on material for his fourth album\, writing and recording with the fabulous Jen Mize with her band The Rough and Tumble\, on their debut album. Tamworth 2020 will see the album release and live show for The Goonga Project\, a big dumb\, very exciting\, rock band with Matt Fell\, Steve Fearnley and many special guests\, in honour of their late friend Glen Hannah \n\nDiamond Skies\nThis year we offered an Emerging Artist Scholarship to eight of 25 applicants. In addition to music business mentorship with artist Kelly Brouhaha\, sound tips from engineer John Simpson and venue tips from owner Mike Roberts\, scholarship winners get to perform a couple of songs at the start of a show. We are really looking forward to hearing Diamond Skies kick off this magic night at The Barn at Wombat Flat! \n\nDiamond Skies are a six-piece folk pop band from Adelaide. With a sound influenced across myriad genres\, from folk to R&B\, Diamond Skies are underlined by a shared love of harmonies\, and an energetic and lively rhythmic bed. Telling stories of longing and love\, of growing through experiences\, treasuring friendships and travelling through life’s journey\, Diamond Skies’ songs are personal and yet relatable. \nRicca Terra Wines\, Barossa Street Food\, Eudunda Bakery goods\, BVB beer\, soft drinks\, hot drinks for you to purchase on the night. \nNO BYO FOOD OR DRINK PLEASE. \nGates open 5:30pm / Show 7:00pm
