The Barn at Wombat Flat is proud to be a major sponsor of this incredible event organised by Boots and All Fundraising!
Boots and All Fundraising has been established to host fundraising events that will directly impact the lives of cancer sufferers in Australia. Having been through the Cancer Journey themselves and having lost their wife and mother of their children to cancer, the Baumann family decided to continue the support that they had received throughout their time with the disease. “As a young family with 2 young Children, we did it tough. When Amanda was diagnosed with terminal cancer, we set about trying to create memories for our 2 girls. None of this would have happened without the support of family, friends and strangers so this is our chance to continue this support for others in a similar situation”, said Boots and All Fundraising founder, Rob Baumann.
The proceeds from the shows and events will be distributed between 2 registered charities. Neither of these charities are government funded and they run by volunteers, so any funds go a long way to providing much needed help to other sufferers. These Charities are:
This charity supports Australian families with children aged 12 years and under through the provision of practical, immediate and non-means tested support whilst Mum is receiving treatment for cancer.
This charity makes dreams come true for patients who are living with Metastatic cancer, meaning any cancer that has spread
Both of these charities assisted Amanda in her personal cancer journey.
Along with a great line up of artists, this night is destined to be big with activities such as a Charity Auction taking place along with great food and drink to ensure your night is a memorable experience.
ADAM ECKERSLEY AND BROOKE McCLYMONTDEBUT #1 ARIA COUNTRY ALBUM CHARTAdam and Brooke have just added this fundraiser in The Barn at Wombat Flat to their extensive ‘HIGHWAY SKY’ TOUR! It was always going to be special when two of Australia’s finest singer-songwriters announced they were teaming up to release their first ever album together. Country artists, and husband and wife duo, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont are celebrating their debut album ADAM & BROOKE charting #1 on the ARIA Country Album chart and Top 20 on the ARIA All-Genre Album Chart. “This is just the best news so thanks to everyone that is supporting us.” Brooke commented. “We didn’t know what to expect when we decided to do an album together but we did know that we love the songs and the recordings and you can only hope that if you love it then other people will too.” The self-produced, 10-track album has been praised by fans and critics alike with Country Update Magazine stating “It is a body of work in a class all of its own and may well be the best Australian country duets album ever. I can’t think of a better one. It is a treat for the ears – lyrically and in terms of real people making real sounds playing real instruments really well, with no BS bells and whistles!” The five-month long ‘Highway Sky Tour’ will take the duo across the nation and they’ll be taking some of the brightest emerging talent with them. 2018 Toyota Star Maker winner, Brad Cox will be supporting them here at The Barn! “Most of these shows are Brooke and I with a couple of acoustic guitars, a stomp box and a bunch of stories and songs.” Adam said. “It’s so much fun and it will be great to have Brad join us at the The Barn. I can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing!” |

Ricca Terra Wines
Our partner for this event is Ricca Terra Farms. Ricca Terra Vintners is 16 years in the making. Ashley & Holly Ratcliff have grown and sold their grapes to some of the greatest winemakers in Australia. Today, Ricca Terra Vintners has established the mantra to blend grape varieties in the vineyard rather than in the winery….and make wines of interest with stories to tell!
Gates open 4:00pm. Great wines from Ricca Terra and some winter warming food will be available for purchase. No BYO food or drink please…..you’ll thank us!
