Thanks to the generosity of the South Australian Government via the Music Development Office, the Goyder Council and a wonderfully supportive group of sponsors who just flat out LOVE what we do, The Barn at Wombat Flat is thrilled to present one of SA’s iconic performers….Louise Adams!
We know that Covid-19 has crippled so many businesses like ours and has, in particular, affected the artists we love to bring to you in our usual live show, full house format. We have re-invested and re-equipped to bring you high quality video and sound for this, our second livestream format show where Louise will perform for 50% capacity audience (to comply with restrictions) of guests.
Many of you would know Louise from her performances on X-Factor. “Louise Adams is an exceptional artist who combines stunning vocal power and control with pure unadulterated raw emotion.” Greg Walker, Producer
Louise is an artist with impact; her voice and style is soulful one moment and soaring with power and grit the next. Her music exudes fresh soulful vibes with flecks of grunge, alt country, and indie pop. Whether on stage solo or with her band, Louise is genuine with her songs and how she performs them.
This show brings Louise back to her home town of Kapunda in South Australia. Louise has captured audiences throughout Australia, with festivals including Adelaide Fringe, Benalla, Dark Mofo, Woodford, Bendigo Blues & Roots, Tamworth, and Blenheim under her belt.
Louise’s passion to connect is intrinsically linked to her desire to tell a story with great songs. She treats songwriting with patience and integrity, dedicating the last 2 years to writing and recording. This mission of sorts has taken her to studios around Australia and the US to create with talented producers; Kevin Dailey (Grammy award-winning producer in Nashville), Mark Myers (Middle East, Timberwolf) and more recently Greg Walker (Paul Kelly, Jen Cloher, CW Stoneking). The results of this work are highly anticipated with her upcoming debut release!
